New Widgets Released!

Karen's picture

This week, our ad creatives got a face lift. With the help of some partner suggestions as well as some statistical analysis, we revamped and rolled out an entirely new design for the ads you find in the Ad Wizard.

After testing the various ad options that have been available to you in the past, we gathered data to determine which of those modules performed best across the network. By reviewing these statistics, we developed an entirely new catalog of widgets for you.

The new creatives you will find in the Ad Wizard take the elements from the best-performing modules and combine them with a cleaner look, a more clear call-to-action, and some more pleasing color choices.

Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think!

And if you're wondering who to thank for the new ad options, give a shout out to Chris and Emerson.

Featured breaks in my blog,

Featured breaks in my blog, losing its size and showing border. I have no time the next week to track down the problem, but it obviously has to do with css stuff -- you probably took for granted that html commands were previously undefined so you didn't redefine them in your code.

I think you need to declare ALL html attributes/markup in your css component to make sure it will work in all instalations.

looks nice though. Now what about other sizes?

more information please

Hi Work911 - Chris is looking into the error you describe. Per your note regarding the border, our CSS doesn't indicate a border, but it also doesn't say "make border zero." The border you're seeing is likely coming from your own stylesheets. In any case, Chris will change the CSS to specifically denote a border of zero.

At this time Chris hasn't been able to replicate the error that you mention with the module losing its size. Can you tell me which of your sites you are trying to use the module on so we could try to recreate the error to see what we need to do to update?

Also, if you could take a screen shot or elaborate on it, that would be helpful. Chris tried to recreate the error by copying a page from work911.com and putting in a featured offer widget but he didn't encounter any issues such as you describe.

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't have time. It

Sorry, I don't have time. It didn't work in the context of my blogs so that's it. I believe I explained the situation -- that if you leave undeclared attributes in YOUR CSS, it can break when faced with other CSS's.

As for work911, there is no blog there. The problem only occurs on my blog sites. Sorry, maybe I'll get back to this is a week or two and provide what you need.
