I'm doing well, but not as well as we can. Just in case people are wondering you'll probably find that a lot of people running businesses aren't inclined to tell you what they earn, including us. It's private.
So, I suspect those of us who make a lot more than the numbers posted aren't going to post here.
I think it's possible and reasonable for established sites to easily make upwards of $1,000 a month. And up. So set your targets high, folks, and good luck.
I've earned $53 so far, that's including the contest last month.
I'm still using a free hosting for now but will switch to my own once I got my own domain. This way, I can promote more and increase my site's traffic.
So far, since joining four months ago I have earned $65. I earned $10.50 from successful subscription and $50 for the article I wrote about Revresponse in my blog. I have placed Revresponse widgets in my blogs. I have 4 blogs. I did not really work hard to earn, I just put the widgets in my blog and that's it. It is only this month that I started to work harder on the offer catalog and so far I've got one successful subscription. What i do is post the offersa that I think are possible to get subscribers in my blog. The link is below.
It's quiet effective because it will blend with the posts, it will look like a review of a book that I recommend so people read it and click on the link that leads to the subscription page. I think this is more effective than the widget.
I can't really believe this! My reports state that I've earned so far 10$ and some cents. I have not expected that, at least not now, since my blog is new. This is great.
I am by no means an expert here... but I looked at your sites and my initial thoughts are you have way too many ads.
I suggest you focus on the design of your blogs... and I strongly recommend moving away from the free Blogger account and into a self hosted WordPress account. I hired a designer but there are tons of free templates out there.
As far as what I did I simply wrote an article and since I have a pretty decent readership... and many of the magazines are highly applicable to my readership it went well.
With this said, I don't expect to keep this pace up without some work. I plan to write some articles once in awhile pointing my readers to some mags and whitepapers that will add value to them.
I also have some banners up and my rep is helping me design a few more... but again you can't overdo this or it looks like all you want to do is make money... and even if that is the case you can't let people know this.
thanks Ron, i appreciate your comments and suggestions regarding my blogs. Guest what, i just did subscribe in a cheap web hosting company and i am planning to implement a website using joomla or wordpress cms in due time. maybe i could create a better niche out of it.
we'll just got into your site and it's nice you've put up or included a menu that links to your tradepub site. a clever work. i'll do that also in my new domain. :-)
well in the case of adsense ads, maybe your right that we shouldn't overdo it but, it's still possible to earn if we will just put it in a nice place, not all internet users are publishers or online money makers who knows ppc's, so we'll never know if they we're to click it not.
You're both doing fantastically with the program! Keep up the great work and keep the conversations going here on the forum. Also, don't forget to ask your account manager if you want additional help promoting offers.
I'm sure she'll get back to you as soon as possible. As for the potential drop of your earnings... it's hard to say what will happen. If you actively promote items that speak to your audience (whether or not you wrote them), you should be able to generate some good income.
rangan - the article promotion was a contest we ran for the month of July. That contest has ended but we tend to have a new contest each month so keep your eyes open for the next one!
