Maximum limit of subscription for MONTH or FOREVER ?

I just joined this program recently and some success and failed subscription...

I found high subscription for some hot magazines. Recently found this message for particular magazine. The message is "We apologize that TradePub.com is no longer able to accept subscriptions for this title on behalf of the publisher.".

Present example (June 2008)
http://webwormcpt.tradepub.com/free/hyde/prgm.cgi

This has created a lot of frustration from my readers.

Please kindly advise
i) what the maximum subscription per magazine ?
ii) Is the limit is permanent or just for the month ?
iii) The message " We apologize that TradePub.com is no longer able to accept subscriptions for this title on behalf of the publisher." implies that no longer able to accept subscriptions FOREVER. Is this true ? If not, i think a message may need to change to say that "you may come back in next month or next offer."
iv) should we open a new account to cater for temporary high demand ? Please help to tackle the frustration of my readers.

RE: Maximum limit of subscription for MONTH or FOREVER ?

Hi webworm,

Please pardon the uncharacteristic delay in response. The RevResponse team is in the process of juggling a few different balls while a few of us are out on family, wedding, and new born related activities. It's certainly an interesting time around here lately...now back to business.

I'm going to address your questions in the order of request. Please review my responses and let me know if you have any additional questions. I'd be happy to have someone on the team schedule a phone call or IM session with you if you are looking for more information. So without further ado:

1. Every offer has a different limit on the amount of subscriptions it can handle. Some don't have a limit at all. Some have limitations on a monthly basis while others have it on an annual basis. Long story short...it all depends on the offer and there isn't any rhyme or reason to it.

2. More often than not, the offer is only down for a short period in time and will most likely return at the start of the new month. In the event that we know when the offer will return, we'll display the following message:

Temporarily Unavailable. Thank you for your interest in OFFER TITLE.
Due to the overwhelming response, we apologize that this offer is temporarily unavailable.

Below is a link to a live example of this occurring:

3. Agreed. My response in #2 should address our solution to what you reported.

4. Not at all. Your account is in fine status and the offer status has nothing to do with your relationship with us. If you are looking to do direct promotions, the best way around this is to find additional relevant offers and promote those. If you'd prefer to let us do the heavy lifting, simply visit the 'Promote' link on the top of the site and create a promotion. All of our widgets and modules constantly optimize themselves to show only ACTIVE offers. Lastly, we'll shortly be revealing a really slick new tool that will provide another alternative for you.

Thanks for the feedback and careful thought into our program...we certainly appreciate it.

Please let us know if you need anything else.

-Dave

Suggestion...

Dave,

Thanks for your great response. I am just suggest to put wording like TEMPORARY UNAVAILABLE...even though Netline or publisher do not aware of next offer because the real fact is the offer can back anytime.

In my opinion, wording like " We apologize that TradePub.com is no longer able to accept subscriptions for this title on behalf of the publisher." implied that this magazine is NO LONGER available...and visitor will NO LONGER come back...

Thanks.

All magazine publishers have limited offer

Yes, I have similar experience. Some magazine publishers have very limited offer for free subscriptions. May be some magazine subscriptions limit only for the month, and the others are forever. Unfortunately, this kind of magazine give me more leads than others (which are still offering free subscriptions). So, I think, the more these free magazines are promoted by any websites, the less chance for us for getting leads.

More promotion, less lead ?

kbrata,

Thanks for your response. Appreciate.

There is absolutely no problem with a publisher with limited offer for an account. This is normal. I am totally agree.

The more promoted by other marketers, the less ....

I mean, the more free subscriptions promoted by other marketers, the less chance for me for getting leads. Just normal competition for limited offer.
