I suppose it's entirely predictable that I should suggest SEO as a "missing feature" of the TradePub experience (given that I'm an SEO of sorts), but the power of SEO is not to be underestimated.
I know first hand just how diligent and quick to act the guys behind RevResponse are. So this is no way a criticism of their fine work.
However, in keeping with the whole help-me-help-you thing, a little SEO luv' thrown in the direction of the CMS driving the TradePub experience wouldn't be a bad thing.
This wouldn't be a voyage of self discovery, but instead one of search engine discovery!
And we all know how good a thing that can be, don't we?
Hi Wayne,
We agree 100% that improved SEO for our TradePub sites would benefit our partners and our company. We have been setting the foundation to take a more aggressive pass in the coming months.
We welcome your suggestion and are happy to "help-me-help-you." We'll send the SEO luv' your way in the near future. Thanks again for your excellent feedback.
karen, I think it's unlikely that you CAN seo the pages you host on our behalf. The duplicate content alone would be a huge problem, unless you folks know something I don't.
I only optimize internal pages, because this value remains. So the internal "magazine page" could even link another PP in the future. Sure: using "nofollow".
There is absolutely no sense doing SEO with external DC pages (for example: astore) if you are not able to be the #1 competitor. #1 wins it all but needs a lot of optimization. In addition: if the PP canceled, the whole optimization is useless.
