It would be nice to be able to create some custom categories. There may be several publications in several categories that would be good for a site, and some that were not good at all. A custom category would allow us to pick only the best ones to match our site content.
I do realize that a small selection of publications could have problems if some or all are no longer available.
I'm sure you're not the only one whose site caters to a variety of industries/categories. We're working toward having the option to blend categories. In the future it might be as simple as holding the ctrl key and clicking multiple selections. We're investigating a potential work-around that you may be able to use in the meantime. I'll let you know as soon as we've tested it out.
